Good Questions, Honest Answers

Everything Fargo neighbors usually want to know before their first visit — and if we missed one, just call.

What areas around Fargo do you serve?

We're based in Fargo (58103) and cover about a 20-mile reach. That's the whole city, from the older neighborhoods around downtown, Hawthorne, Roosevelt and Horace Mann to Rose Creek, Osgood and the newer streets of south Fargo, plus West Fargo, Horace, Harwood, Reile's Acres, Mapleton and Oxbow on the North Dakota side and Moorhead and Dilworth across the river in Minnesota. Just outside that circle? Ask anyway, because a longer list often makes the drive worthwhile.

Are your pros licensed and insured?

Yes. The work is done by insured local pros who hold the licenses and registrations required in North Dakota for the job at hand, so electrical and plumbing connections are handled by licensed tradespeople. Ask us anything before we start.

Do you give free estimates?

Yes. Most jobs can be priced firmly from a handful of photos and a brief conversation. Bigger or harder-to-predict work gets a no-charge visit to see it in person. However we arrive at it, the price is settled before we pick a date.

Do you charge by the hour or by the job?

Wherever possible we quote a flat price for the job, so the cost is known before work starts. When a visit is a loose punch list, we settle on a rate and an outline of the work together first, so the bill holds no surprises. When something turns out easier than it looked, you pay less, not more.

What jobs do you take on?

Pretty much everything on a household to-do list: patching drywall and plaster, fixing doors, mounting TVs and shelves, building furniture, installing ceiling fans, light fixtures, dimmers, smart switches, hardwired doorbells and thermostats, repairing or replacing faucets, toilets and disposals, mending fences and gates, cleaning gutters, pressure washing, painting, garage storage and seasonal upkeep. Include the little things too; we'll build a single visit around everything you send.

Can you help get my house ready for winter?

Fall prep may be the most valuable visit on our calendar. In September and October, before the ground freezes, we clean and check gutters and downspouts, make sure downspout extensions carry water well away from the foundation, shut off and drain outdoor faucets, re-caulk gaps around windows and trim, replace worn door weatherstripping and sweeps, and test smoke and carbon monoxide alarms before the furnace starts running full time. Doing it in the fall beats finding a frozen pipe or an ice dam in January.

Do you work in the winter?

Yes. Indoor work, from drywall and painting to fans, fixtures, faucets and TV mounting, runs all year, and we're careful about it: boots off or covered at the door, floors protected, and the door kept shut so your heat stays in. Outdoor work like fence posts and pressure washing waits for thawed ground and warmer weather, but we're glad to put it on the calendar for spring while we handle the indoor list now.

Can I just text you a photo of the problem?

Please do. Snap one close shot and one wide shot of the problem, add a line about what's happening, and that is often all we need to size up the job and quote it. It also means we show up with the right parts on the first trip.

How do I schedule, and how far out are you booked?

Give us a call or send the contact form with your address and a few words about what needs doing. You'll get a firm arrival window instead of an all-day wait, plus a heads-up if we're delayed. Small jobs can often fit in within the week; longer lists may take a little more lead time so we can block enough hours to finish everything in one visit. Spring and fall fill up fastest, so it pays to call early for gutter and outdoor work.

Got a list? Let's shorten it.

One quick call or text gets you a real price and a real arrival time — usually within the week.
